The official trailer, the production stills and posters for one of her newest films “The Father” are here so be sure to take a look! This film certainly looks interesting, it has also been nominated for six Academy Awards, so you should check it out! Also added a few screencaps from the trailer, take a look!

Anthony (Anthony Hopkins) is 80, mischievous, living defiantly alone and rejecting the carers (played primarily by Imogen Poots and Olivia Williams) that his daughter, Anne (Olivia Colman), encouragingly introduces. Yet help is also becoming a necessity for Anne; she can’t make daily visits anymore and Anthony’s grip on reality is unraveling.

Check out the production stills & posters and watch the official “The Father trailer below.

Filth [HD Caps + Photos]

Today we added 960+ HD screencaps from the 2013 film called Filth, where Imogen plays Amanda Drummond, the lone female officer in the force and the lead character’s promotion rival. She’s also his only peer who isn’t fooled by the bravado he displays, and doesn’t have a problem expressing her harsh views and opinions to him. Her role in the film is small but the film itself is pretty entertaining, if you like unconventional comedic crime movies. The film also stars James Mcavoy, Jamie Bell and Eddie Marsan. We also added 4 production stills and 4 posters to the photogallery. We hope you’ll enjoy them, take a look at everything!

Jimi: All is by my Side [HD Caps + Photos]

Since now things are obviously pretty still in the world, it’s time to go back to completing the photogallery. Today we added 2600+ HD screencaps from the 2013 film called Jimi: All is by my Side, where Imogen plays Linda Keith, the woman who discovers Jimi Hendrix playing backup and immediately recognizes that she’s in the presence of greatness. She’s the seductive voice of reason with a head for business–a posh, Mod goddess and a pushy stage mother but her actual feelings for Hendrix fall into a gray area between friendship, territoriality and love. Her role in the film is decent and the film itself is fairly entertaining, so if you like biopics, you’ll enjoy it for sure. The film also stars André Benjamin, Hayley Atwell and Ruth Negga. We also added 14 production stills (some of them very uncommon), a behind the scenes photo and 5 posters to the photogallery. Take a look at everything!

Imogen on the cover of ES Magazine

Imogen Poots is tired of walking on eggshells. ‘Being English, being polite, it’s exhausting,’ she says, sipping sparkling water which, to her chagrin, has arrived with lemon wedges, not lime (although she’s too polite to complain). We’re at Soho’s Dean Street Townhouse and the 30-year-old actress, dressed in a frill-collared Isabel Marant blouse, once blonde hair newly light brown, is letting loose on the fact that women who speak up get a bad name. Qualities such as ambition are coveted, but in men, not in women.

Poots thinks that Hollywood’s sexual abuse problem — which she describes as ‘systemic’ — is inseparable from the idea of women as submissive. ‘Still I come up against it a lot, where if you come to work and you’re quite opinionated in a good way for the benefit of the project, that can often be perceived as “you have an attitude” or that you’re hostile.’ The way that female characters are imagined on the page is still ‘pretty shocking’, she says, and women have been expected not to fight this. ‘You go along with the plan,’ she says. ‘You don’t question things.’

Imogen Poots on RTE Guide

Michael Doherty chats with Imogen Poots about her latest film, the sci-fi thriller, Vivarium. Directed by Dubliner Lorcan Finnegan, Vivarium is a dystopian drama in which Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg play a young couple whose search for the perfect suburban home quickly turns into a Kafkaesque nightmare. With echoes of Get Out and Black Mirror, the movie received its Irish premiere at the recent Dublin International Film Festival, where we caught up with the lead actress. Best known for her starring roles in movies such as The Look of Love (2013) and Green Room (2015), and TV series such as Bouquet of Barbed Wire (2010), Imogen is the daughter of Belfast TV producer, Trevor Poots.

You once remarked that you love a sense of the absurd and the uncertain in acting jobs. You certainly got your wish with Vivarium…

Imogen Poots: Oh, yes! I really, really loved it, even if I didn’t totally understand it at first. I was intrigued by it. I met up with Lorcan and he was telling me about movies that would be a good reference for this film. It was all so interesting and I couldn’t wait to get started. It’s always fun when you’re working on a project which, in one sense, is an art experiment; but we had a budget, which is cool!
